Chook Talks

What is it?

COME FOR THE FUN – STAY FOR LUNCH

A day where the individual or the whole family can spread out and enjoy the countryside.
Nature walks, swimming in the river, chook talk time, races and art for the kids.

Refreshments, eggs and other farm-fresh produce, psychic readings and reflexology
will be available.

Why is it on?

A day in the country is always important. Whether you come for a quiet spot of relaxation by the river and lunch

If the whole family comes, the kids can visit the chooks and horses, play games, paint, do some gardening. Mums and dads can do all that or just sit back and enjoy the presentation of the day.

Goddess Retreat

What is it?

A weekend of celebration of the goddess within.

Activities include Qi Gong, meditation, decadent high tea, bushwalk at dusk to connect with the land,

200-Hour Part-Time Teacher Training, 2012
13th-20th May 2012

What is it?

This part-time course runs over a seven-month period and commences with a week-long residential retreat, six weekend intensives in Sydney and ends with a ten-day residential retreat. This format allows students to spread their study load over an extended period of time, giving them an opportunity to integrate the study material while still being able to manage career and family commitments.

The venue for both retreats is Jasper’s Village Resort, Australia’s up-and-coming centre for health, wellbeing, sustainability, and conscious living. Resort accommodation is located in an area of natural beauty and is serviced by a community of people whose focus is to create an environment conducive to people reaching their highest potential.

The venue for Sydney intensives is BodyMindLife Yoga, Surry Hills.

A weekend of writing in a tranquil resort setting with special guest speaker, successful author Adrienne Ferreira and workshops by Dr Richard Hillman and Penny McKee.

Retreat focus: CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT WITHIN TEXT

Presenter/s

Adrienne Ferreira was born in Sydney in 1975 and grew up on the mid north coast of NSW. She is currently working on her second novel, about a young mother who becomes obsessed with a foreign sailor watching her from one of the coal bulkers lined up just outside her cliff-top house – an exploration of youth, aging and the panic of transition.

Adrienne lives on the NSW Central Coast with her husband (actor, producer, playwright and screenwriter Rob Carlton) and their twin sons.

How much does it cost?

$300, includes accommodation, all meals and workshops
